Our full service is designed to help you make trade decisions by empowering you with trading expertise, research, and strategies. Our market opinions are guided by research, using both fundamental and technical analysis, and the conditions of the futures market. We also offer managed accounts with recognized Commodity Trading Advisors ( CTA's) for diversification in a traditional investment portfolio. Managed futures is both a stand alone investment as it offers possible opportunity for growth* and as a diversification asset as it can possibly decrease* overall risk and enhance return in a diversified portfolio.
How a Full Service Brokerage Works
We review the financial and commodity futures markets and determine if a trade opportunity exists in a particular futures contract. If it does, your broker will review its risk and potential with you taking into account your risk tolerance and investment goals. If you understand the trade and feel confident in the analysis, you can then decide to trade or not. We encourage you to access the trade research on most futures contracts that is available all of our clients, and if you have a particular market in mind, your broker will be glad to discuss with you the best trading strategy, taking into account the risk and potential, to accomplish your trading objective.
Our trading philosophy is to consider both fundamental and the technical analysis in determining the futures trade. Different brokers have different approaches that are particular to them, but the objective is to try and stay with the trend, cut losses, and exit the trade with profits.
Options
We do work with options on financial and commodity futures. It is important to note that option trading does provide for limited risk only if you buy an option. There is unlimited risk if you sell an option short. Also, it is important to note that options are time decaying financial instruments. There are different strategies unique to options on futures and your broker will be glad to discuss with you the strategies and risks unique to options.
Once you are in the trade, it is important to review your account statement and keep in contact with your broker. Likewise, your broker will be in contact with you to review the trade until its exit.
